Woot! Something to spice up my life, happened the very first moment at work!
The main computer is like a spoiled kid today. Asked it to switch on, the lights flickered for a few times, then poof it shuts itself down. Huh? What is this lolx! Barger what is it thinking haha! Since it don;t want to start up, all the receipts that are printed had to go through to slow colour brother printer. Damn, those customers can go buy lucky draw already. They scored coloured invoices.
Anyway, gotta fix it. Main computer leh!

dealer. Hear this clearly, our main computer is from Acer!*
Lolx! Liddat also ca. Not only that, it's so old that the casing looks like taken from a computer 6 years ago (the flat one), and gotta pull out the front panel to access the insides >.<
Not to mention all the solidified dusts....
After dirtying my clothes, transporting it to the tech area and all those other misc stuff. The solution was to unplug the power cord and plug it back.

Just for a moment yesterday, I wished that I'm lazying away in my room in Ursula. Sleep till late, wake up to eat, play some games and read something. Work has been becoming a bit repetitive, different faces but same types of customers. Only the occassional 'interesting' customers makes the day different, and of course new technologies and new stocks too.
I need variety man!!
Anyway, Vista is out. Very fast for some jobs, but I'm still waiting for bugs keke.

So the money counting for the past few days were always short by small changes, like 20c, 50c and like today, $1. That means that we could have given back to the customers more change than should.
Finally, the mystery has been unraveled. In a small plastic pouch that the boss handles, inside lies the coins that are to be taken from the till to be deposited. The bag has been labelled "50". So, with everything are $2 coins, should have 25 golden coins inside. But... there are 2 silver coins? huh?
They are 2 x 50c coins! What are they doing there?! That makes them 51 bucks!
