Just used my rice cooker for the first time yesterday. Since it could only boil so guess what :) We had Dumplings!! Dunno what is the chinese name of it... 5 bucks for around 30 of them... cheap cheap!! The filling is Pork, Prawn and Mushroom, not bad eh? But the prob is that can only buy it from Dickson, which is like a 20mins bus ride from the bus stop which is a 20mins walk!! Haihz... but worth it!! Even the instant noodles are cheap there ^ ^

Back to the dumplings, it is not allowed to COOK in the room but who cares, as long as we dun cause a fire i think it should be fine :) 30+ dumplings shared among 6 of us, boiled in Xiu Qi's room ^ ^'' The original plan was to cook in my room but since the rice cooker is brought about everywhere, it landed in her room kkakaka!! But my room is really messy la, like a tiger's den... dark and dangerous :o

One new info: Hwa Kang(hope i got his name correct ^ ^'') is actually studying in Monash Malaysia!! Wa liao eh... Canada should be much more fun la... but his choice la. Hope he'll enjoy here, i know he will, someone would be offering him some tickets soon for a great show.... :)



We got an Ursula Casino night today. Everyone starts off with 700 bucks. But the first thing i did once i got that cash is to eat chips brought out by Charis haha!! But really, I dunno what to do since there are like a few games around, and the green lights and green shirts everywhere certainly does not help to explain the games available. I found the Hongkies across the room, they are chatting enthusiastically, as usual when they are together, until they told me Chun Yi had won 10k from Roulette.... It's like one very fat chunk of money in his pocket!!! Wa lao... i feel charged up liao!!! Went to play Black Jack immediately muahahah!! Barney, he had lost his capital in an instant earlier, go borrow some from Shinya, over 3k!! (Those guys really do win a lot eh?) At first I'm winning, hundreds and hundreds, so Barney upped my bet until the maximum.... First few times were amazing, until Sammy the Dealer had to call for more money!! Then soon it was a downturn.... so sad Ji Lu invested in me when i'm going down >.<'' Finally I'm only left with 300 bucks, but Barney continued on. I had already jumped to the Roulette table, where i heard is the best place to win money.

Masa was there, with only 50 bucks on his hand!!! Wa siao, I joined him betting the number would be odd. And it was 11, odd number!! I won 100 :) Then there was this special game rounds going at another table, where whoever is the closest to digit 9 would win. Dawn guy was there, with a Mad Hatter's kind of hat to store his money!! = ='' Someone stood to challenge Robert, and lost by 1 point >.<

Since time was getting kinda late, and I wanna visit this time really sick Jia Yun, I bet all my 320 bucks on Odd Number. I lost :)



There are like 26 people in each block floor. All grouped together around the common area in a square. So there are the refreshment room where a common fridge and balloons are located. (You know what those balloons are :) Anyway!! What is the most amazing thing is that they have only 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets allocated for 26 PEOPLE!! Just imagine that if everyone showers just before dinner (5.15pm!!), there would be some who need to wait for their turn right? But nooo, after staying here for one month, everytime i go for my showers, I always get to choose which shower room to choose = =''

There are only 3 times so far I had met someone in the toilet(I mean the whole toilet) and 2 of those times that guy is Zhong from China!! Does my blockmates shower or not? >.<''
