Remember that i bought the Radeon 9550 SE? Well, the purpose was to actually run Civ4. 5 days to download it, 2 days to try it on my old settings, 3 days to get myself a new graphics card, another 3 days to format my com and make it new, 2 days to get it runnning on the new computer settings and one day after that which is today, only to find that my old graphic card could work while this *NEW* Radeon couldn't!!!!
Haihz, where can liddat la... I felt like i wasted money, and my judgement and diagnosis all went wrong liao. I sensed depression coming soon >.<

Yippee!! Congrats to my 103rd post ever since i started this blog. My 100th post was about specialization. 101st is about gays. I'm starting to have some weird understanding behind those numbers but i don want to hear about it from any symbologists ;p
Yesterday was the best day of my hols. I got to recall and re-experience all the things i had missed since they have gone overseas and out of touch. Basketball was great!! Along the few hous we were playing, i kept remembering back of my sec skool bball times, about when the school team vs the non-school team, the F1 class vs class competition, the PJK periods so very early in the morning and those absurdities of 10v10 full court. LOLX!! Wonder how you guys are now ^ ^
Shopping is anothing thing i missed out since my mom started shopping her own after her gym classes and after my sis went to aus. I juz simply dun understand some guys who can't teman gurls in their shopping. Is it that hard? I find it very enlightening LOLX!! If all they could do was just to wait outside, i guess they would have missed out all the fun :)
Later in the evening, it's Hari Raya Open House in Tropicana. OMG! The house is just so beautiful!! Outdoor garden + Indoor Garden, spaciously comfortable guest room and prominently high end dinner room!! The other parts are nothing to shout about but the best part of the house is the porch. It's like we are walking into some garden. Water are flowing beneath my feet. Fishes swam about greeting us with some jumps. Though i expected a frog to sprout out from the lilies, i guess Aunty Irene wouldn't allow any frogs in the vicinity, hehe. There is a small fountain in the indoor garden. With perfect blend of colours of green and blue, the waters shines in baby blue. PERFECT!! If i have that kind of money, i would want my house to be like this but with the addition of a good sized pond teeming with fishes, Koi and those likes and that pond links with a river that comes from *inside* the house. And that small river encloses the area where it would be a pure relaxation place, with Zen like designs. My dream home :) Wonder how much it would cost me >.<

Haihz. I couldn't believe that i had missed out one check before i went to the do the last resort.
Originally, my problem was that i can't start Civ4. I need Directx 9.0c installed but whenever i tried to install... it din install. So i thought maybe it's my video driver that can't support it. Got and installed the new one. Still cannot. So it must have been some other thing, not directx since no matter how i try to install the directx it's still the same thing over and over again. So tried on my laptop. It could start but it gets overheated 5 secs later and shuts off. I had cracked my brain over it for 3 days straight. So i think the next best way is to get myself a new graphics card. I actually wanted to get FX5500 but since no more stock.. so i got Radeon 9550. The installation of ATI drivers are really a crap case. The latest driver actually couldn't be installed!! Haihz, wasted an hour on trying to make it work. So i finally resorted to the CD that came with it. Installed, now try again. Same problem. Haihz. Went to lowyat.net to check. Then i found out a crucial step that i had missed. I din check my com whether it's directx 9.0c. Checked - 9.0b. Haihz. Then i buy the graphics card for what. Wasted RM276.
Now i got a few more other ways to tackle the problem. Just hope it turns out that i still need the card after all... just to let me feel that i had not wasted it..

What's the stigma about gays anyway? Here i refer to those guys who are more in touch with their feminine side NOT those who want to be gurls ala Afiq and gang.
Just read this.
"It's common enough to hear girls discussing the immaculate, brilliant qualities of a guy, only to throw up their hands and resign themselves to the fact that, "He's probably gay!"
"The most intelligent, most charming, wittiest, most desirably flirty boys I've known - boys with the most original sense of humour, immaculate grooming skills, excellent taste and ability to listen when you talk - have not been straight."
And
"There is nothing as off-putting and pathetic as a straight man who brandishes his heterosexuality about, as if the assertion of homophobia and straightness would confirm his very assured sense of masculinity to every else."
Gone are the days for male chauvinist, here comes the gay men!!
